JetBrains warns of critical TeamCity remote code execution flaw

Back to all postsJetBrains, the renowned software development company, recently disclosed a critical security vulnerability in their TeamCity continuous integration and build management system. The discovered flaw (CVE-2021-30551) allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code through specially crafted XML input files. This is particularly concerning as TeamCity is widely used by software development teams across Canada, including many Small to Medium Businesses (SMBs). If exploited, the vulnerability could lead to unauthorized access, data theft, and potentially devastating disruptions to business operations. JetBrains has since released a patch to address this issue, urging all TeamCity users to update their systems as soon as possible.
